Restaurant Week is on!

We’re back at it: Restaurant Week is here for Summer 2019 and we are thrilled to participate once again.

Join us August 12th through August 18th at Farmers & Distillers as we welcome guests for this summer’s Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s (RAMW) Restaurant Week. This delicious and bargain-filled restaurant industry event is designed for guests to check out new restaurants or revisit old favorites.

We welcome our downtown DC Restaurant Week guests with our specially-crafted, three-course lunch for $22pp and dinner for $35pp. (Saturday & Sunday brunch is excluded.) Our Summer Restaurant Week 2019 menu features many of our Farmers & Distillers favorites. From our famous Whirley Pop Kettle Corn, Table Breads, and FF Glazed Bacon Lollies for starters to our delicious Chinatown Favorites, Handmade Pasta, and signature entrées to a choice of one of our select Farmers Donuts or a cone/cup of our hand-churned ice cream for dessert, we have lots of choose from. If you have no room after the first two courses, no worries: you will receive a gift card to use at your next visit.

While beverages are not included, we hope you will enjoy one of our delicious scratch-sodas or one of our craft cocktails made with our Founding Spirits, distilled right here in our in-house distillery.

Restaurant Week is a popular, annual DC event, so we suggest making your reservation today. We look forward to serving you for this summer’s Restaurant Week. If you can’t make it to Farmers & Distillers, join us at our participating sibling restaurants, Farmers Fishers Bakers and Founding Farmers.

Our Brunch is a Great Way to Celebrate Dad

Join Farmers Restaurant Group this weekend to celebrate dads and all that they do. Each of our restaurants will be serving our amazing brunch, regularly named as the best in the city by locals, including Washingtonian Magazine readers and the Washington City Paper.

Founding Farmers Tysons in Tysons, VA, Farmers Fishers Bakers at Georgetown’s Washington Harbour, and Farmers & Distillers in Mt Vernon Square will be serving our Farmers Market Buffet Brunch, which is definitely celebratory fare. We have comforting breakfast favorites for the more traditional brunch lovers, such as buttermilk pancakes and bacon and a butcher’s table with a host of choices for meat lovers. We also have lighter luxuries with a gardener’s table ripe with an array of salads. This buffet brunch includes amazing treats hand-carried by our servers to your table including cracker crusted shrimp, eggs benedict, and house-made doughnuts. The cost of this festival of food ranges slightly from restaurant to restaurant, but is about $30 for adults and half or less for kids.

Founding Farmers DC and MoCo’s Founding Farmers, in Potomac, MD have a sit-down, a la carte style service that includes traditional breakfast fare made our way, such as French toast using our house-made bread and buttermilk pancakes always made from scratch. Our tasty poached egg hashes are always a crowd pleaser and some undeniable menu favorites are our unforgettable specialty glazed, thick-cut bacons. Seriously, this is the best bacon your dad may ever have. Prices vary by item.

The food isn’t all dad will love. Our delicious Compass Coffee First Bake Blend is designed and roasted especially for our restaurants. If you and your Father’s Day celebrators are feeling particularly festive, our craft made cocktails are available, including one of the best Bloody Mary’s in town, according to Washington City Paper. We also have Whimsical Shared Cocktails at Farmers & Distillers or if you head to Farmers Fishers Bakers, you can try our Fisher’s Tikis.

Finally, if you want your dad to leave with a great gift, our latest restaurant, Farmers & Distillers is also home to our distillery, Founding Spirits, where we handcraft some of our proprietary beverages. Our latest Founding Spirits American Whiskey, our Founding Spirits Vodka, and our Founding Spirits Arroyo’s “Never Bitter” Amaro are all available for sale by the bottle. Also available for purchase: our Founding Farmers Rye Whisky and our Founding Farmers Gin.

So, come join us! Treat dad this Father’s Day to one of the best brunches in town. We recommend making a reservation.

Three Days and Five Restaurants Make for Some Very Tasty Brunch Choices This Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day is almost here, a holiday that for most marks the start of summer and a time of reverence in honor of our nation’s soldiers.

Whether you’re joining the national celebrations across the DC area, gathering with family and friends, planting your garden, pulling out your summer whites, or simply enjoying three days off… we hope you will join us for brunch.

Farmers Restaurant Group will be welcoming guests for brunch this holiday weekend, Saturday, Sunday, and Memorial Day Monday, in all five of our restaurants. Voted as a top DC Best Brunch spot by Washingtonian Magazine readers and Washington City Paper’s Best of DC, our brunches are always a bounty of food and drinks we make from scratch primarily using ingredients from family farms across America.

Our brunch menus vary some by location. Founding Farmers DC and MoCo’s Founding Farmers in Potomac, MD have a sit-down, a la carte style service that includes our ever-popular Chicken & Waffles made breakfast-style with scrambled eggs, stuffed French toast, benedicts, buttermilk pancakes, poached egg hashes, and our specialty glazed, thick-cut bacons.

Our Farmers Market Brunch buffet is served at Founding Farmers Tysons, Farmers Fishers Bakers on the Georgetown Waterfront, and Farmers & Distillers at Mt Vernon Square. This festival of food is hard to beat with traditional breakfast fare such as buttermilk pancakes and bacon, a butchers table, a gardeners table ripe with luscious salads, and lots of passed decadence from eggs benedict and cracker crusted shrimp to spring rolls and house-made doughnuts.

Our brunch drinks are also fan favorites. In all of our restaurants, we make craft cocktails with our proprietary spirits and house-made syrups and mixers. From one of the best Bloody Mary’s in town, according to Washington City Paper, to our Fisher’s Tikis at Farmers Fishers Bakers, to our Whimsical Shared Cocktails at Farmers & Distillers, to our old fashioned scratch sodas, we can usually quench anyone’s thirst. Of course, we also serve our delicious Compass Coffee First Bake Blend, designed and roasted especially for our restaurants.

There are a lot of reasons to visit one of our farmer-owned restaurants over Memorial Day weekend. If you can, we recommend making a reservation. For specifics on our brunch hours and menus for each location, go to:
